A metaphor is a figure of speech that is used to make a comparison between two things that aren't alike but do have something in common.

The comparison is usually with the word “is”.

By using popcorn as a metaphor to promote myself, this project seeks to let my audience know who I am through the food metaphor.

Getting food delivered is such a norm these days, so I put together a take-away box to let the world know.
